Biosynth is a company within Biolink Group. Biosynth was founded in 2000. The company is located at Hanabryggene Technologycentre in Sandnes, Norway.
The experienced science team has synthesised several selected anthocyanin molecules with identity to their natural counterparts.
Biosynth is the only company in the world that has been able to produce synthetic anthocyanins in larger scale based on organic synthesis. The process has been granted a world wide patent.

New laboratories at Foss Eikeland
The new laboratories at Foss Eikeland have been completed. Biosynth is, with this, adding capacity for larger volumes of anthocyanins. The company is now ready for expanding the number of novel applications for its molecules.
Foss Eikeland is located close to the international airport in Stavanger on the west coast of Norway.
Upscaling of the process
Biosynth have, together with the Swiss company Solvias AG, finished the first phase of upscaling of the syntetic anthocyanin molecules. Solvias is a wold leader in contract research development and upscaling (CRO/CDMO).
The process will be implemented at the new facility at Foss Eikeland.
